Awarded SE Region Under 5s Photographer of the Year '09

Young Kyreece, whom I spotted passing the studio with his parents and just had to photograph him in our South Croydon photography studioI am absolutely delighted to be awarded the prestigious title of South East Region under 5s Photographer of the Year.

On Monday evening, the well respected Fellow photographer, Dennis Hylander, judged the print competition for the Master Photographers Association South East Region over at Rowfant House.

After having a couple of procedures of my leg on Monday morning, I made my way over to Rowfant House to delivery my competition prints.  Unfortunately, I was unable to stay for the critique and judging, which has been reported to have been excellent, as Dennis critiques just about every image entered.

Late on Monday night, I received a PM from my lovely Lisa, who happens to be the UK Photographer for the Year, congratulating me on my win - which she had already pre-empted when she saw the images earlier in the day.

I'm honoured to have been awarded this title and would like to share the image that enabled me to receive it - meet Kyreece again...

Exactly how delicious is he? Thank you again Andrina for bringing him in, he was a delight to photograph.

...we've chosen to reward selected clients with awards.  What does this mean? Well, for those clients whose images we feel deserve an award, your image will be featured here and you'll receive an award from us.  What will your award be?  It will probably differ with each image, from a "thank you" for inspiring us to cinema tickets, to whatever!

When I met Shannon & Zack on Thursday, I just knew that their wedding was going to be amazing. Despite circumstances beyond their control, four special people were unable to attend the wedding at the very last moment. It was emotional at the time, I'm sure, however, Shannon and Zack remained positive.

I was delighted to have such a laid back, relaxed couple who were happy to go with the flow and experience a wonderful destination wedding here in Jamaica.

Everything seemed to line up perfectly for Shannon and Zack on their big day; location was perfect, weather was perfect, company was perfect, they were perfect. Below is a rather large selection of images that tell their story... enjoy and share your comments...

Denise and Michael did such a lovely job taking our pictures on our big day. They kept everything relaxed and fun, and were willing to drive all over the resort for us to get so many beautiful shots. They were so well together as husband and wife, as well as making a great team to turn your photographic experience into the best! We will never forget our special day we spent with such amazing photographers to help share in the joy of our new marriage, and capture every significant moment of our day.
